The kilt arrived in time, though it took me all night Saturday and all day Sunday to convince Cisco that he needed to snip the threads holding the pleats down.  Even then, he didn't listen until I got someone else to tell him.  Jerk!  He looked great.  I wore my wow-I-found-a-mismarked-dress-and-then-they-honored-the-price dress, which was beautiful.  I think.  I still can't see myself the way others apparently see me.  We'll see if that gets better as I continue to lose weight, provided I continue to lose weight.  I also wore heels which were incredibly high and it was stupid to wear them in the dark on uneven ground, but I wore them.  Being the party girl that I am, I was ready to go about five minutes after we arrived.  How did Cisco and I end up married?

On Sunday I wore my accidental Moresca, and wow, I'm not used to boning anymore.  I'll post pictures if I ever get them downloaded from the camera.  The red must have been absolutely necessary for my costume, because I got two comments, both of them almost word for word the same--"You have fun colors".  Well, good enough for me.  I never got any comments before.  Though, I did wear only the skirt to summer camp today (part of my witch costume) and someone really liked it.  I'm a hit lately.  :-P

Today's adventure has been purchasing a kilt for Cisco.  Yes, I know, a Spaniard in a kilt, who can picture that?  The kilt is for a party at Noblesse Oblige Sunday evening, and I'm not at all sure it will arrive in time, but we spent too much time trying to find a local retailer.  Who knew that no one would carry kilts?  We had given up when I saw a listing on eBay for KL Kilts, who had some kilts ready to ship and available as Buy It Now.  It'll ship today via Priority Mail, and there's still a chance that it will arrive in time.  If not, well, I've been trying to get Cisco back into a kilt for 18 years.  Did I mention that he was wearing a kilt when we started our relationship?  The man has great legs.

Anyway, I guess I'll be spending Saturday at home instead of Fair.  I don't have a clue how I'm going to get up there, since my ride was technically with Cisco Saturday morning.  He could come home Saturday night and drive us all up there Sunday morning, but H might kill me because she has Saturday off and has to work all day Sunday.
